Privacy Policy

Orbend (“we”, “the app”) is a mobile arcade game featuring gravity-based space gameplay. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum needed to run accounts, cloud saves and the leaderboard. We do not run ads, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we never sell your data.
Who is responsible

What we collect
- Account — your email address (only if you sign up with email) and a display name. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier from them and the name/email you choose to share.
- A user identifier — a random account ID (UUID) created by our backend to link your data to your account.
- Gameplay data — scores, level, combo/streak and game-over reason, used for your progress and the leaderboard.
- Display name on the leaderboard — if you post a score, your display name and score are shown publicly on the in-game leaderboard.
- Preferences — settings such as sound, haptics and graphics quality, stored only on your device.
- Guest play — you can play as a guest. Guest mode creates an anonymous session with no email or name.
- Technical / log data — like any online service, our backend provider (Supabase) automatically processes basic technical data (IP address, timestamps, device/user-agent) on each request, to operate and secure the service. It is retained briefly for these purposes and not used to profile you.
We do not collect your precise/GPS location, contacts, photos, or any advertising identifier, and the app contains no third-party ad or analytics tracking SDKs.
How we use it
Solely to provide the app: creating your account, saving your progress to the cloud, syncing across your devices, and ranking scores on the leaderboard. This is the legal basis of performing our service to you (and your consent where required).
Who processes it
- Supabase — our backend (authentication, database, hosting) acts as a data processor.
- Apple / Google — only if you choose “Sign in with Apple/Google”, as authentication providers.
All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
Retention
We keep your account data until you delete your account. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, scores and saves.
Your rights & how to delete your data
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, in the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. This erases your profile, scores and cloud save immediately. You may also email us to request access, correction or deletion. Depending on where you live, you have rights under the GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA (California), including access, deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
Children
Orbend is a general-audience game intended for users aged 13 and over (4+ on App Store with no violent content). It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
